“Living Lab” Research by the Sustainability Front
This semester, the Technion is turning into a Living Lab – and we’re inviting you to take part in an exciting and innovative study on walking and walkability on campus.
Want to influence planning at the Technion? Now’s the time to join!
We’re looking for volunteers to install a simple app on their smartphone that will track their movements across campus from April to August. The app will help us map and understand which walking routes are most popular and analyze how well the physical and climatic infrastructure at the Technion supports and encourages walking.
All data is completely anonymous, in accordance with strict European privacy protection standards.
Data will be collected using an advanced German app – Motiontag – which has already been used in major walking studies at leading universities such as ETH and TUM.
