The Challenge:

The chemicals industry currently accounts for 18% of the world’s CO2 emissions. Demand for primary chemicals is expected to grow by 25% by 2030.

Decarbonisation and reducing CO2 emissions is a vital component of facing climate change head on and transitioning to net zero economy.

This transition will require technologies to both reduce carbon through process optimization and integration of carbon capture, storage, utilization technologies as well as the replacement of fossil-based carbon energy and feedstocks for more sustainable options.

  • Up to 2,000,000 NIS Equity Investment and possible follow-up investments.
  • A visit to the Johnson Matthey Technology Center in Redding, UK.
  • Technology POC or pilot at a Johnson Matthey facility, as applicable.
  • 50 advisory hours from Johnson Matthey’s experts on commercial, technical, operational topics.
