100% Energy Independence Hackathon
It was a great honor to lead the national student energy hackathon, bringing together participants from all degrees, universities, and colleges across Israel.
Held in memory of Guy Sella and sponsored by SolarEdge, the national hackathon marked the Technion’s 100th anniversary. After intensive preparation, students arrived at the Technion campus for a full day fueled by creativity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovation — all to take on the challenge:
“100% Energy Independence – Decentralized Green Energy Systems for Resilience and Sustainability.”
Throughout the day, groundbreaking ideas were born, interdisciplinary bonds were formed, and a fruitful collaboration took place between students, researchers, and industry professionals.
A huge thank you to our supporters and partners — SolarEdge Technologies, EnergyCom, the Technion Energy Program, and the Technion Entrepreneurship Center (t-hub), as well as to all the mentors, judges, and especially the amazing students who made this an unforgettable experience!
