Chilled, filtered water

Refill Your Bottle, Not the Bin

The Technion is much more than a place to study and work. It is also a vibrant green campus, with scenic walking paths, mature trees, natural spaces, and beautiful views that invite you to pause and enjoy your surroundings.

At the Technion Sustainability Center, we believe that walking is one of the healthiest and most sustainable ways to get around campus. Choosing to walk reduces vehicle use, supports personal well-being, creates opportunities for spontaneous encounters, and allows you to experience the campus from a different perspective.

To make walking even more enjoyable, we have installed four new public drinking fountains at key locations across campus. These fountains provide chilled, filtered drinking water, making it easy to refill your reusable bottle without purchasing bottled water or relying on single-use plastic bottles.

You can find the new drinking fountains at:

  • Sports Plaza, next to the bus stop
  • Along the bike path, near the synagogue
  • On the main promenade, next to the Segoe Building
  • Kislak Park

The next time you’re heading to class, a lecture, the lab, or a meeting:

💧 Bring your reusable water bottle.
🚶 Choose to walk whenever you can.
🌿 Take a few moments to enjoy the beauty of the Technion campus.

Small everyday choices add up. Together, they help create a healthier, more enjoyable, and more sustainable campus for everyone.
