A Study Day in Memory of Yaakov Abraham
On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, a study day will be held at the Technion campus, focusing on various aspects of solid waste management – from landfilling to energy recovery, research, innovation, and real-world implementation.
As part of the event, a poster competition will be held for graduate students and PhD candidates, aimed at encouraging and nurturing the next generation of researchers in the field.
Participants are invited to submit abstracts and present research addressing solid waste management across the broad spectrum of science, engineering, and sustainability.
🏆 Cash prizes:
First prize – 5,000 NIS
Second prize – 3,000 NIS
Third prize – 2,000 NIS
