PLANETech event at the Technion
The Technion leads the development of innovative technologies that deal with the major and ongoing challenges of the global climate crisis and promotes solutions in a wide variety of fields.
The sustainability frontier supports the process of turning scientific breakthroughs arising from the Technion’s laboratories into actual products and technologies that can be applied in the real world. Many inventions have the potential to make a real difference in the fight to mitigate the global climate crisis, but scientists are not necessarily natural entrepreneurs capable of translating their innovations into start-up companies.
Cooperation of the sustainability frontier at the Technion, T3 – Technion Technology Transfer and the PLANETech organization connected Technion researchers with entrepreneurs from the industry to promote technologies under the themes of sustainability.
