When Environmental Science Meets the Field

Every two years, the Unit of Environmental Engineering, Water and Agriculture at the Technion holds a symposium highlighting its main research areas.

This year, the focus is on:

“Applied Innovation in Environmental Engineering, Water and Agriculture – When Science Meets the Field”

📍 Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Technion, Haifa

During the symposium, faculty members will present applied environmental research that has successfully moved beyond the lab and into real-world implementation. These are projects already operating in advanced stages within industry, including initiatives that have led to the establishment of startup companies.

This is not a theoretical discussion. It is a close look at what happens when research is tested against reality, with all the complexity, constraints and opportunities that the field brings.
